Vice President of Product & Risk
Cort Walker is a consumer finance industry expert from Utah. Walker has experience in many areas of the finance world, including compliance, operations management, executive management, product development, risk management and more. He is currently a Vice President of Product and Risk at Tosh, Inc., where he uses his extensive financial expertise to create quality financial products for everyday consumers.
Alongside providing quality financial services and solutions, Walker is an active member in his community as a board member of the Foundations of Independence (FFI) Cerebral Palsy of Utah nonprofit organization.
Experience
Cort Walker received his Bachelor of Arts at Brigham Young University (BYU) and went on to complete an MPA in Management at the University of Utah. He has been a board member of the Utah Consumer Lending Association for over a decade and previously served on Community Financial Services Association’s (CFSA) State Legislative Initiative Committee. He has completed Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) Certification from ASQ and a BSA/AML Compliance Certification from INFiN, a Financial Services Alliance. Walker is also an advisory board member for Alternative Lending at TransUnion and has presented at Lend360’s annual conference.
Walker has 20 years of leadership experience in the finance industry. Walker has experience with product research and development, product implementation, underwriting, automated decisioning, operations management, state and federal AML/BSA/CFPB compliance, financial regulatory issues, product management, and internet finance operations.
Walker has worked with a wide variety of products and services in the consumer finance industry including consumer lending, lease-to-own, legal financing, retail installment, and point-of-sale financial solutions.
