Netspend is a prepaid card provider. Their prepaid products can be used for personal everyday spendings like groceries, online shopping, and more. Prepaid cards let users manage their money in their own way.
Prepaid cards are much like regular cards, but without a traditional bank or checking account. That's right, you don't need a checking account or a bank membership in order to enjoy a Netspend card from Check City.
Instead, a prepaid card user can simply load money2 onto their card and use it anywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted.
Check City charges up to $9.95 for a Netspend Prepaid Card in store.
This is not a credit card,1 so you do not pay any interest or late fees on the card.
You can get a prepaid card at a Check City location as well as order your prepaid card online. Take advantage of this process from the convenience of your phone(2) or computer. The online process includes filling out a short application with your first and last name, street address, and email address.
After you've filled out the form and finished ordering the card, you'll get your prepaid card sent to you in the mail. You can start using the card once it arrives.
You can reload2 your Netspend card at a Check City store or online.
To reload your card online5, first, link your bank account to your online Netspend card account.
Then whenever you want to reload your Netspend card, you can just log in to your Online Account Center and add funds from your linked bank account.
There is no minimum balance required for the card.
You can load your card at any of the more than 130,000 Netspend Reload Network2 locations in the US.

Restrictions include: no ATM withdrawals, international transactions, account-to-account transfers and additional loads. Use of Card Account also subject to fraud prevention restrictions at any time, with or without notice. Residents of Vermont are ineligible to open a Card Account.
