	What are the tax preparation fees?
	Our tax preparation fees start as low as $29.95 for the 1040EZ form, unlike other tax preparers our price includes electronic filing of both federal and state taxes. Additional fees are charged for any other forms needed to complete the tax return. Go into a store near you for your free estimate.
	Do you offer Tax Loans?
	You may receive a Lightning Tax Loan* up to $2,000 based on your federal refund. You can usually receive the Lightning Tax Loan* within 24 hours.
	Do I have to pay the preparation fees up front?
	No, we offer a tax preparation service that allows us to deduct our preparation fees directly from your federal tax return so that you do not have to pay anything upfront.
	What do I need to bring in to have my taxes prepared?
	You should bring W2’s, Photo ID, and Social Security Cards for you and all your dependents Any other important tax documents like 1099’s If you are wishing to itemize, bring your 1098 (home mortgage) medical bills charitable donations non-reimbursed employee expenses If you are self employed bring any receipts/expenses
	What is a Federal Refund Anticipation Check (Federal RAC)?
	You could get money quickly and conveniently with a Lightning Tax Refund Anticipation Check. However, Check City may, at its discretion, verify application information by using national consumer loan underwriting databases that may include information relating to previous cash advance transactions that Check City may take into consideration in the approval process.
