Do I pay interest?

There is no interest associated with the use of our Prepaid Debit Cards. In fact Our Prepaid Debit Cards offer a savings account that will pay you 5% interest. You simply load the money on your card that you would like to use.

What are the fees?

The fees are simple and straight forward. You can choose a “pay as you go” option, which is $1 for a credit transaction and $2 for a Debit transaction, or you can choose a monthly fee of $9.95 and use the card as much as you like with no charges for transactions. (ATM and other fees do apply)

Do I have to have a minimum balance on the card?

There is no minimum balance required for the card or for the savings account.

Do I have to go into a Check City store to load money onto the card?

No, you can load it at any location that has the Netspend Logo; there are over 90,000 locations nationwide.

What if my card is lost or stolen?

Simply contact Netspend customer service at 1-866-609-2020, they will cancel the lost or stolen card and rush you out a new card.
