NFL Lockout is Over!

The lockout has ended. After 133 days of frustrating debate, major confusion, and the possibility that we won’t be seeing the Packers comeback after their championship season, we can take a long deep breath of relief. Professional football is back! A 10-year collective bargaining deal with players and owners means that there will be a new split in annual revenues. The last labor contract ended in March and since then the players and owners have been scrambling to find some end to the payers lockout. Players and owners alike were celebrating the end of the lockout with zeal and relief.

Mike Anderson Most Likely Returning To Arkansas

Mike Anderson, currently the Mizzou head coach, will most likely be returning to Arkansas. Jeff Long, athletic director for Arkansas, is working hard to get the deal done.  The contract will most likely be for seven years, $10.85 million. Mike Anderson was the assistant coach for Arkansas for 17 years under head coach Nolan Richardson. Arkansas fired coach John Pelphrey back on March 13th, after four seasons. Mike Anderson has an impressive resume which includes an Elite Eight appearance in 2009 and a record of 111-57 in his five seasons with Missouri.  He turned down a job offer last year
