Salt Lake Bees July 23 Winner

Congratulations Nash! Nash was the contestant/winner of our pop fly contest at the Salt Lake Bees game Friday night, July 23. Nash won $105 in front of a sold out crowd. The Bees won 18-9 after scoring 10 runs in the first inning!          

NFL Lockout is Over!

The lockout has ended. After 133 days of frustrating debate, major confusion, and the possibility that we won’t be seeing the Packers comeback after their championship season, we can take a long deep breath of relief. Professional football is back! A 10-year collective bargaining deal with players and owners means that there will be a new split in annual revenues. The last labor contract ended in March and since then the players and owners have been scrambling to find some end to the payers lockout. Players and owners alike were celebrating the end of the lockout with zeal and relief.

Kendrick Perkins to Thunder for Jeff Green-OJ Mayo to Pacers

It has been a crazy week in the NBA, and it just got crazier!  ESPN is reporting that Celtics and Thunder have worked out a trade sending Center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson to the Thunder for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.  I’m not really sure who is getting the better end in this deal.  Looks like more of a win-win situation to me.  But one thing is certain, both teams just got a lot better today.  Thunder needed a big man, and now have filled that need with Perkins.  In my opinion, Perkins is one of the most
