After eating the turkey and the stuffing make your calendar for Tuacahn's Christmas Festival of Lights. The event goes on every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from the day after Thanksgiving until December 23rd.

You can see lights, witness a live nativity scene that features real camels, visit Santa, or enjoy a holiday train ride on the Old Salty Train provided by Ruby's Inn. At Tuacahn’s Festival of Lights there is something for everyone to start the Christmas season off right.

Jubilee of Trees

November 16, 2009 by Amelia G

First held in 1981 at a hotel convention center on St. George Boulevard, the Jubilee of Trees has become the largest showcase of custom designed Christmas trees and wreaths shown between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. It features spectacular custom designed full-size Christmas trees, mini and table-top trees, holiday wreaths, gingerbread houses, gifts and seasonal décor.

The Jubilee of Trees also features several fun events within the showcase. Some events include a Teddy Bear Picnic for children, a fashion show, and concerts.

This year, the Jubilee of Trees is benefitting children's services by helping Life Flight helicopter services take flight at Dixie Regional Medical Center.

It will soon be time to get out the gold and silver to decorate that Christmas Tree. When you have some gold, silver, or platinum you are ready to give up for cash- remember that Check City has a Gold Buying Program.
