Children of Eden

November 30, 2009 by Amelia G

Children of Eden will be performed by BYUarts. Students from byu put all of the elements of this play together to make Children of Eden a stunning musical performance to watch.

This musical score for Children of Eden comes from the composer of Disney’s Enchanted and the hit musical Wicked.

The storyline of Children of Eden retells the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah from the book of Genesis. Featuring a gorgeous score that includes ballads, love songs, and gospel spirituals- the play is not lacking in beautiful music. The play focuses on the relationships between the Father and his children and connects them together in a meaningful way.

During the play, his friends persuade him that the secret to success lies in convincing the world he’s dead. Millet devices a scheme which could make him rich, famous, and able to marry the girl of his dreams—if only he didn’t have to be a corpse to do it!
